Couch Potato
I have spent the last three days or so (more on the "or so" side) watching television from the Curvey Couch. This has led, in turn, to alternately thinking that I am pathetic and feeling darn happy that there are no more finals in my immediate future. The thoughts of my pathetic-ness are staved off by the precarious rationalization that I have chosen to go couch potato, versus the alternative that I was given no choice. I can stop whenever I want to. I was not previously aware that there is a point at which your body conforms permanently to the shape of the pillows on which you are propped. I have had some close calls with that one. Yesterday, somewhere between the last half of Serenity (watch it now and often) and the third-in-a-row episode of Buffy (yesterday was Joss Whedon day) I actually lost circulation to the right side of by head because of the awkward angle of my neck. Not pleasant. Oscar has spent the last three days or so giving me a rather disturbing "You're wasting your life" look. All of this adds up to me being pretty glad that tomorrow I'm going home for Christmas. Here's for hoping it's a non-stop whirlwind of activity and shopping and family and food that is not made by Papa John.
Happy Happy Holidays everyone!

Have a merry merry and a happy happy yourself, too. We had an extraordinary couch potato day ourselves with the History Channel and all that nonsense.
Your the only other person who has Vodka gimlets listed in their favorites. That gets my attention. And then I read your blog and you like Buffy! I must admit you have a new fan.
Take care
POST SOMETHING NEW. And post New Year's Pictures, please.
